Step #1: Create an Event

Create a new event from the Kajabi dashboard, select the “Marketing -> Events” option, and then you will able to add the event details. Check the below image for reference:

Now just click on “Save” and your event is created successfully.

Now you will need to choose where you going to host the live event. I will recommend choosing either ZOOM or GOOGLE MEET, both are good to use.

Zoom provides a free tool that offers 40 minutes of video calls with up to 100 attendees, making it easy to create and access a meeting.

Anyone with a Google Account can create a video meeting, invite up to 100 participants, and meet for up to 60 minutes per meeting at no cost.

Even you can record the live event on both of the platforms and then can use it for your evergreen event if you want.

Once you make the decision of choosing the platform, let’s dive into an important step.

Now everything is done, it’s time to set up your emails for the event. On events, edit mode click on “ADD EMAIL”. Check the below image for reference:


Now here you can add emails according to your needs, remember to include the meeting link created on Google Meet or Zoom in one of the emails.

Even here you can schedule the emails so that they can go before or after the event. To select when to send the email just click on “WHEN” on the right side. See the below image:

Once you have added all the required emails, you can try sending test emails to confirm everything. And now we are done with creating the event in Kajabi.

The next important step after this is to create forms & automation.

Step #2: Create Forms & Automations

For creating a form go to Marketing -> Forms and click on “Add New”. Create a form as per your needs and scroll below to the automation section, as in the image below:

Click on “Add Automation” and one popup will open and will ask you to select, what you want to do if someone fills out the form. From “THEN” drop-down select “Register To An Event” and select the event you created & click Save. See the below image for reference:

Done! You have successfully created a form and added automation to it. Now you have successfully created the event and form now it’s time to create a landing page.

Step #3: Create Landing Pages

Landing pages are important for promoting your live event or masterclass because they provide a focused and specific place for potential users to learn about the event and register.

You will need to create 3 landing pages:

  1. Registration Page
  2. Thank You Page
  3. Webinar Reply Page

A Registration Page can include information about the event, including the date, time, location, and any other details that are relevant to the target audience. It can also include a registration form, payment options, and any other necessary information to facilitate the registration process.

By creating a decent and effective registration page, you can increase the chances of success for your live event or masterclass.

On Thank You Page you will be thanking users for registering, also you can let them know that they will receive an email and ask them to check their spam & promotion folder. Even you can ask them to join your community like Facebook groups. You can add sharable links to share your webinar page on social media & emails.

On Reply Page, you can add a recording of the live event or masterclass for those who were not able to join it. So that they will have access to your event or masterclass without attending it live. But the only disadvantage is they cannot able to interact with you as this will be only a video no live event.
